Welcome to Henllys Village Hall. The hall was built in 2010 and is managed by the Trustees of the Henllys Village Hall Charity. The Trustees take great pride in providing a safe and well-maintained hall for use by the community.

The village hall has two rooms for hire – the main hall and the meeting room.

(The use of the office is shared by the Village Hall Committee and Henllys Community Council)

Main Hall

The Hall measures 10 x 15 metres overall, with a ceiling height of 2.82 metres.

There is a small stage and Bluetooth and CD player which feeds the built-in sound system.

The main hall lighting consists of three blocks of lights each block separately dimmable.

The maximum number allowed in the main hall is 90 for parties and functions (100 theatre style).

The Hall can be hired for £20/hour or £120 for a full evening function (between the
hours of 7pm and12.30pm).

A bar can be provided upon request – additional £20.

Please note: Under the terms of our Premises Licence bookings for 15th– 21st Birthday Parties can not be accepted nor for private functions predominantly involving groups of persons 15 – 21 years of age except when arranged by recognised organisations and clubs.

For getting equipment etc. into the hall there are double fire exit doors to the rear car park, which has parking for 17 cars.

From the hall there is access to the kitchen. We have a modern kitchen with an electric double oven and ceramic hob, fridge and use of crockery and cutlery, included in the hire charge.

The Meeting Room

The Meeting Room measures 4.7 x 6.2 metres overall and will seat up to 25 people theatre-style; 16 boardroom-style.

The Meeting Room is available for small community meetings, groups and businesses at a charge of £10/hour.

Superfast Wi-Fi broadband access is included, the password is available from the hall supervisor.

Kitchen facilities are included.

Lunch or light refreshments can be arranged, alternatively adjacent to the hall is the Dorallt Inn, the Cwrt Henllys Restaurant and Bar and the One Stop Shop.

The hall is fully disabled access and there is a disabled toilet.

The full charge for the hire must be paid at the time of booking. However, a small (£20) refundable key deposit may be required upon collection of the key, at the discretion of the hall supervisor.

Licensing: The premises are licensed for music, dance, entertainment and performances between the hours of 7.00 to 24.00 and alcohol consumption on the premises between 11.00 to 24.00, under the control of our Licensed Premises Supervisor.

Copyright: The village hall is licensed with the Performing Rights Society(PRS) for the performance of copyright music. This does not however, cover the use of recorded music by hirers of the premises. If hirers are using recorded music they should check with Phonographic Performance Ltd (PPL) to see if a licence is required – refer to http://www.ppluk.com
